About BVAC

Supporting veterans and their families in the Ballarat community

Our Story

The Ballarat Veterans Assistance Centre (BVAC) was established on 4 June 2019 with a clear mission: to provide comprehensive support services to veterans and their families in the Ballarat region.

We recognised that many veterans in our local community were struggling to access the support they needed and deserved. Whether dealing with mental health challenges, navigating the complexities of DVA claims, or simply needing someone who understands their experiences, veterans needed a dedicated local resource.

BVAC was founded by veterans, for veterans. Our team understands the unique challenges faced by those who have served because many of us have walked that path ourselves.
